Assam Driving Licence PVC Card: what you get

A PVC print of your driving licence, made from the file you upload. We print it as it is. We do not edit, correct or change any detail. We are not the transport department and we do not issue or change documents. This is a convenience copy of your own licence. It is not a new, renewed or duplicate licence.

Upload your soft file

The easiest way to order is with a soft file of your Assam licence. Download it from DigiLocker or mParivahan, or save a PDF of your licence from the Parivahan Sarathi portal, and upload it at checkout. You do not need to post your licence to us. Your original stays with you.

Licences issued in Assam usually begin with the state code AS, followed by the RTO code, the year of issue and a serial number. Check that the whole number on your file is clear and complete.

What a printed copy cannot carry

EastMojo (Press Trust of India) reported on 21 July 2022 that Assam Transport Secretary Adil Khan described the new Assam RC as having a Guilloche pattern, micro line, watermark and a hologram below the top layer, and that traffic and law-enforcement staff can verify a cardholder by scanning the QR code with a phone. A PVC card printed from your scan or PDF is a copy of the picture. It does not carry the physical security features of an original card, and it is not a substitute for the original. Keep your original licence safe, and use the printed card where a copy is enough.

Which file gives the best print?

• A DigiLocker or mParivahan PDF (best). It keeps the text, photo and QR code sharp at card size.
• A flat scan of your licence. Use 300 dpi or higher with all four edges visible. At card size that is about 1011 x 638 pixels.
• Not a screenshot or an angled phone photo. Glare and tilt cannot be removed, and we do not retouch files.

Applying or renewing?

We print the licence you already hold. We do not take applications, renewals, duplicate requests or status checks. Do those on the Parivahan Sarathi portal or at your Assam RTO. Once your licence is issued or renewed, upload the new file and we will print it.

Check these before you order

• We do not print on chip cards. If your licence has a chip, only the chip image is printed.
• Read the name, date of birth, licence number and vehicle classes on your file against your original. We cannot correct a mistake after printing.
• A printed card is a convenience copy. Ask whoever needs to see it what they will accept, and keep the original or your digital copy as well.

How to order

1. Keep a clear scan, photocopy or DigiLocker PDF of your driving licence.
2. Add this product to your cart and upload the file at checkout.
3. We print your card, which usually takes about 72 hours. We try to dispatch it on the same day printing is finished, but the exact dispatch time depends on printing. We ship by Speed Post. At dispatch we send the tracking number and photos of your card to your WhatsApp number.

Payment is online only. We do not offer cash on delivery. Because every card is printed for you, orders can be cancelled only before printing starts. Read our return, refund and cancellation policy.
