Kerala Ration PVC Card (PVC Smart Card)

Kerala Ration Card PVC Card: what you get

A PVC print of your ration card, made from the file you upload. We print it as it is. We do not edit, correct or change any detail. We are not the food and civil supplies department and we do not issue or change documents. This is a convenience copy of your own ration card.

Kerala also has its own plastic ration card

Onmanorama reported on 1 November 2021 that Kerala was changing its ration card to an ATM-card-size PVC card with the holder’s photo, a QR code and a bar code. According to that report, booklet cards and e-ration cards could be converted, existing cards stayed valid, and Akshaya centres charged Rs 65 including printing. Fees and rules may have changed since then, so ask your civil supplies office or Akshaya centre.

Our card is a different thing. It is a print of the e-ration card file you already hold. It does not replace the government-issued card and does not change your ration entitlement or your card details.

Which file should you upload?

• Your e-ration card PDF from the civil supplies portal (best). It keeps the text and QR code sharp at card size.
• A flat scan of your card. Use 300 dpi or higher with all four edges visible. At card size that is about 1011 x 638 pixels.
• Not a photo of a screen. Glare and tilt cannot be removed, and we do not retouch files.

Check these before you order

• Read the card number, the name of the head of the family and every member’s name on your file against your original.
• If a member was added or removed, update it with the civil supplies office first, then download a fresh file. We print only what is in your file.
• A printed card is a convenience copy. Ask whoever needs to see it what they will accept, and keep the original or your digital copy as well.

How to order

1. Download your e-ration card from your state’s official ration card portal, or keep a clear file of your ration card.
2. Add this product to your cart and upload the file at checkout.
3. We print your card, which usually takes about 72 hours. We try to dispatch it on the same day printing is finished, but the exact dispatch time depends on printing. We ship by Speed Post. At dispatch we send the tracking number and photos of your card to your WhatsApp number.
