Ration card PVC print: what you get

A wallet-size PVC print of your own ration card, made from the e-ration card PDF or a flat scan that you upload at checkout. We print the file exactly as it is. We do not add or remove family members, change the card category or correct any detail, and we are not the food and civil supplies department: we cannot issue, renew or transfer a ration card. The card is a convenience copy for the people who collect rations and need to show the card number every month. It does not replace your ration card or the Aadhaar check at the fair price shop.

Where to get your ration card file, by state

Ration cards are a state subject, so the portal differs from state to state. These are the ones our customers use most:

• Maharashtra: mahafood.gov.in → Online RC Management System → print the e-ration card, or download it from the Mera Ration app.
• West Bengal: wbpds.wb.gov.in or food.wb.gov.in → e-Ration Card → enter the card number and download the PDF.
• Uttar Pradesh: fcs.up.gov.in → ration card list → select district, block and shop, then open and print your card.
• Bihar: epds.bihar.gov.in → RC details → enter district and card number and print.
• Tamil Nadu: tnpds.gov.in → Smart Card Services → print the smart family card (TNPDS cards are issued as smart cards; we print the image only).
• Kerala: civilsupplieskerala.gov.in → e-ration card download with the card number and registered mobile.
• Telangana: epds.telangana.gov.in → FSC search → print the food security card.
• Andhra Pradesh: the rice card can be downloaded from the AP Sewa portal or the Mera Ration app.
• Karnataka: ahara.kar.nic.in → e-Services → e-ration card.
• Delhi: nfs.delhi.gov.in → Get e-Ration Card.
• Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana (PPP-linked card), Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha and Uttarakhand: each state food department portal has a ration card search or e-ration card download; the Mera Ration app also shows the card for most of these states.

If you cannot download a PDF, scan the physical card or the first two pages of the ration book flat at 300 dpi or higher with all four edges visible. A phone photo of the open book cannot be flattened.

One Nation One Ration Card and why the print still helps

Under the One Nation One Ration Card programme (launched nationally with the Mera Ration app in March 2021), NFSA card holders can collect all or part of their foodgrains from any fair price shop in India after Aadhaar or biometric authentication. The shop checks the number and the biometric, not the physical card, so our print is for carrying the card number, the category (APL, BPL, AAY, PHH and the state equivalents) and the member list in a form that does not tear. Keep the original card or the PDF on your phone for anything official.

State notes that affect your print

• Tamil Nadu smart family cards and Kerala e-cards are already card-shaped; the PDF prints cleanly at CR80 size.
• Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and Maharashtra e-ration cards are A4 pages with the member list. We fit the whole page to the card, which makes the member list small; if you mainly need the number and head of family, say so in the order note and we will print the top section larger.
• Haryana ration entitlement is linked to the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP). We print the ration card or PPP file you upload; we cannot look up PPP details.
• Andhra Pradesh and Telangana cards are often called rice cards or food security cards. Any of these files prints the same way.

Check these before you order

• Read the card number and the names of all members on your file against your original. We cannot correct a mistake after printing.
• Upload the e-ration card file or a flat scan, not a photo of a screen.
• A printed card is a convenience copy. The fair price shop and any government office may ask for the original or the digital card.

Common questions

Can I collect rations with the printed card?

Collection depends on the card number and Aadhaar or biometric authentication at the shop, not on the physical card. Most dealers are happy to read the number off our print, but the authentication still has to pass.

My card has eight members. Will they all fit?

Yes, but the text will be small. Many families print the front (number, head of family, category) on one side and the member list on the back; upload both as separate files.

Can you print a ration card for a family member who lives elsewhere?

Yes. Upload their file and ship to any address in India.
