Himachal Pradesh Driving Licence PVC Card | Smart Card

Himachal Pradesh Driving Licence PVC Card: what you get

A PVC print of your Himachal Pradesh driving licence, made from the file you upload. We print it as it is. We do not edit, correct or change any detail. We are not the Himachal Pradesh transport department and we do not issue or renew licences. This is a convenience copy of your own licence. It is not a new, renewed or duplicate licence.

Himachal Pradesh accepts digital licences

A notification of the Himachal Pradesh Department of Transport, issued in August 2018, says that driving licences and registration certificates downloaded into DigiLocker or the mParivahan app “would be deemed to be the original documents” and are to be treated the same as the physical ones. A PVC card is for people who prefer a card in the wallet. It is a copy and does not change your licence record.

Applying for a driving license online?

Applying for or renewing a Himachal Pradesh driving license online is done on the Parivahan Sarathi portal or at your RTO. We only print the licence you already hold.

Check these before you order

• A clear, complete file gives a clear print. Blurry or cropped files print blurry or cropped.
• We do not print on chip cards. If your licence has a chip, only the chip image is printed.
• Read the name, date of birth, licence number and vehicle classes on your file against your original. We cannot correct a mistake after printing.
• A DigiLocker or mParivahan PDF prints sharpest. For a scan, use 300 dpi or higher (about 1011 x 638 pixels at card size) with all four edges visible.

How to order

1. Download your driving licence from the official Sarathi Parivahan website, or keep a clear scan, photocopy or DigiLocker PDF.
2. Add this product to your cart and upload the file at checkout.
3. We print your card, which usually takes about 72 hours. We try to dispatch it on the same day printing is finished, but the exact dispatch time depends on printing. We ship by Speed Post. At dispatch we send the tracking number and photos of your card to your WhatsApp number.
