DigiLocker Driving Licence PVC Card: what you get

A PVC print of your driving licence, made from the file you upload. We print it as it is. We do not edit, correct or change any detail. We are not the transport department and we do not issue or change documents. This is a convenience copy of your own licence. It is not a new, renewed or duplicate licence.

How to get your licence into DigiLocker

As Business Today described the process in August 2018, you can keep your driving licence in DigiLocker and download it from there:

1. Sign up with your mobile number, ideally the one linked to your Aadhaar, and verify the OTP.
2. Open Issued Documents, then the partners section, and search for the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
3. Choose Driving License and enter your licence number and the other details it asks for.
4. DigiLocker fetches the licence and saves it under Issued Documents. Download the PDF and upload it here.

Menu names on government portals can change, so follow the wording on the screen.

Why the DigiLocker PDF prints best

A DigiLocker PDF is a clean digital file, so the text, photo and QR code stay sharp at card size, unlike a screenshot or a photo of a card. Business Today also reported that the Ministry told states to accept documents in electronic form shown through DigiLocker or mParivahan at par with the certificates issued by transport authorities.

Check these before you order

• We do not print on chip cards. If your licence has a chip, only the chip image is printed.
• Read the name, date of birth, licence number and vehicle classes on your file against your original. We cannot correct a mistake after printing.
• A printed card is a convenience copy. Ask whoever needs to see it what they will accept, and keep the original or your digital copy as well.

How to order

1. Keep a clear scan, photocopy or DigiLocker PDF of your driving licence.
2. Add this product to your cart and upload the file at checkout.
3. We print your card, which usually takes about 72 hours. We try to dispatch it on the same day printing is finished, but the exact dispatch time depends on printing. We ship by Speed Post. At dispatch we send the tracking number and photos of your card to your WhatsApp number.

Payment is online only. We do not offer cash on delivery. Because every card is printed for you, orders can be cancelled only before printing starts. Read our return, refund and cancellation policy. If your card arrives damaged or misprinted, contact us within 7 days with your order number and photos or an unboxing video, and we will reprint it for free.
