Karnataka Driving Licence PVC Card: what you get
A PVC print of your driving licence, made from the file you upload. We print it as it is. We do not edit, correct or change any detail. We are not the transport department and we do not issue or change documents. This is a convenience copy of your own licence. It is not a new, renewed or duplicate licence.
If you hold an older Karnataka licence
Karnataka licences have been issued in more than one card format over the years. If yours is an older laminated or plastic card, scan it flat at 300 dpi or higher with all four edges visible and upload the scan. If you hold a DigiLocker or mParivahan copy, upload that PDF instead, because it prints sharpest. For a newer card, see our new-format Karnataka page.
Licences issued in Karnataka usually begin with the state code KA, followed by the RTO code, the year of issue and a serial number. Check that the whole number on your file is clear and complete.
Digital copies are accepted at par
In August 2018 the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways advised states to accept driving licences, registration certificates and other documents in electronic form, shown through DigiLocker or mParivahan, at par with the certificates issued by transport authorities, as Business Today reported on 10 August 2018. Rules can change, so confirm the current position with your state transport department.
Applying or renewing?
We print the licence you already hold. We do not take applications, renewals, duplicate requests or status checks. Do those on the Parivahan Sarathi portal or at your Karnataka RTO. Once your licence is issued or renewed, upload the new file and we will print it.
Check these before you order
- We do not print on chip cards. If your licence has a chip, only the chip image is printed.
- Read the name, date of birth, licence number and vehicle classes on your file against your original. We cannot correct a mistake after printing.
- A printed card is a convenience copy. Ask whoever needs to see it what they will accept, and keep the original or your digital copy as well.
How to order
- Keep a clear scan, photocopy or DigiLocker PDF of your driving licence.
- Add this product to your cart and upload the file at checkout.
- We print your card, which usually takes about 72 hours. We try to dispatch it on the same day printing is finished, but the exact dispatch time depends on printing. We ship by Speed Post. At dispatch we send the tracking number and photos of your card to your WhatsApp number.
