PVC E-Shram Card: what you get

A PVC print of your e-Shram card, made from the PDF or JPEG you upload. Your name, UAN and QR code are printed as they appear in your file. We print it as it is. We do not edit, correct or change any detail. We are not the Ministry of Labour and Employment, we do not register workers and we do not issue or change e-Shram cards. This is a convenience copy of your own card. It gives no extra benefit by itself.

What the e-Shram card is

e-Shram is the government’s national database of unorganised workers. When you register you get a 12-digit Universal Account Number (UAN), and the e-Shram card carries that number. According to Anantam IAS (September 2026) and ClearTax (April 2025), registration is open to workers aged 16 to 59 who are not income-tax payers, and the Anantam IAS article adds that you must not be a member of EPFO or ESIC. You need your Aadhaar number, an Aadhaar-linked mobile number and a bank account. Anantam IAS says self-registration on the portal is free.

Both articles also report accident insurance linked to registration: Rs 2 lakh for accidental death or permanent total disability and Rs 1 lakh for permanent partial disability. Cover and conditions are set by the government and can change, so check the official e-Shram portal before you rely on them. A PVC print does not add to or change any benefit.

How to get your e-Shram card file

1. Open the official e-Shram portal and register with your Aadhaar-linked mobile number, if you have not registered yet.
2. To download the card later, use the login for registered workers on the e-Shram website, enter your UAN, date of birth and the OTP, and choose Download UAN Card.
3. Save the card as a PDF or JPEG.

If your mobile number is not linked to Aadhaar, Anantam IAS says you can register at a Common Service Centre using biometric authentication. Menu names on government portals can change, so follow the wording on the screen.

Check these before you order

• Upload the original PDF or JPEG, not a photo of a screen. A flat file keeps the QR code sharp.
• Read your name, UAN and date of birth on the file against your registration. You are responsible for the accuracy of your e-Shram details. We print exactly what is in your file and cannot correct a mistake after printing.
• If a detail is wrong, correct it through the e-Shram portal or a Common Service Centre first, then download the card again.

How to order

1. Download your e-Shram card as shown above.
2. Add this product to your cart and upload the file at checkout.
3. We print your card, which usually takes about 72 hours. We try to dispatch it on the same day printing is finished, but the exact dispatch time depends on printing. We ship by Speed Post. At dispatch we send the tracking number and photos of your card to your WhatsApp number.
