Uttar Pradesh RC (Vehicle Registration Certificate) PVC Card: what you get

Uttar Pradesh RCs and smart cards

On 11 March 2025 the Uttar Pradesh government announced plans to replace vehicle registration booklets with chip-enabled smart cards, as part of its Digital UP Mission. The report gave no rollout date. Our PVC card is not that smart card. It has no chip and does not replace any official card. It is a print of the RC file you upload, for people who want a sturdy copy in the wallet. Confirm current rules with the UP Transport Department.

Your Uttar Pradesh RC file

Uttar Pradesh registration numbers begin with UP followed by the RTO code. Open DigiLocker or the mParivahan app, find Vehicle Registrations under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and enter your registration number. Save the PDF and upload it here.

Check these before you order

• We do not print on chip cards. If your RC has a chip, only the chip image is printed.
• Read the registration number, owner name and vehicle details on your file against your original. We cannot correct a mistake after printing.
• A DigiLocker or mParivahan PDF prints sharpest. For a scan, use 300 dpi or higher (about 1011 x 638 pixels at card size) with all four edges visible.

How to order

1. Keep a clear file of your RC, such as a DigiLocker PDF.
2. Add this product to your cart and upload the file at checkout.
3. We print your card, which usually takes about 72 hours. We try to dispatch it on the same day printing is finished, but the exact dispatch time depends on printing. We ship by Speed Post. At dispatch we send the tracking number and photos of your card to your WhatsApp number.

Common questions

Is this the new UP smart RC card?

No. We are not the transport department and do not issue smart cards. This is a plain PVC print of your own RC file.

Can I use the printed card instead of the original RC?

We cannot promise how any officer treats a printed copy. Keep your original or digital RC available.

Payment is online only. We do not offer cash on delivery. Because every card is printed for you, orders can be cancelled only before printing starts. Read our return, refund and cancellation policy. If your card arrives damaged or misprinted, contact us within 7 days with your order number and photos or an unboxing video, and we will reprint it for free.
