The Indian Dental Association (IDA) Kerala State Branch has introduced a set of three protective and benefit-based policies under the IDA HOPE umbrella. 1. IDA HOPE

IDA HOPE is a merged policy of the Public Protection Scheme and Social Security, launched in 2007, and it has been running successfully since then. It offers life insurance and legal protection to eligible IDA members.

Joining & Renewal Period

  • April – May of every year

Joining Procedure

  • Collect the HOPE application form from your local HOPE Convenor
  • Fill the form and attach:
    • Two passport-size photographs
    • Birth and address proof
    • Graduation certificate
    • CRRI certificate copy
    • Dental Council registration copy
    • Local Branch IDA Membership renewal proof (yearly)
    • Demand Draft in favour of HOPE, payable at Alathur, Palakkad
  • Submit the completed form and documents to the HOPE Convenor

Joining Fees

  • Below 30 years: ₹5,000
  • Below 40 years: ₹7,500
  • Below 50 years: ₹10,000
  • Above 50 years: Not eligible to join HOPE

  • Life Insurance: ₹12,00,000
  • Legal Protection Compensation: Up to ₹4,00,000

2. HOPE MEDI

HOPE MEDI is a health insurance policy provided by IDA Kerala State. It offers unmatched value, low premiums, and high claim ratios. The policy even allows you to include your parents under coverage.

Joining & Renewal Period

  • September – October every year

  • Harthals (strikes)
