PVC RC Card Printing: what you get
PVC RC card printing gives you a PVC print of your Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC), made from the file you upload. We print it as it is. We do not edit, correct or change any detail. We are not the transport department and we do not issue, transfer or duplicate RCs. This is a convenience copy of your own RC, in a size that fits a wallet. It is not a new or duplicate RC.
Which RC file should you upload?
- A digital RC from DigiLocker, Parivahan or mParivahan (best). A PDF keeps the text and QR code sharp at card size.
- A flat scan of your paper or smart-card RC. Scan it at 300 dpi or higher with all four edges visible. At card size that is about 1011 x 638 pixels.
- Not a screenshot or a photo of a screen. Glare and tilt cannot be removed, and we do not retouch files.
How to get a digital RC
According to Aditya Birla Capital (updated December 2025) and Zurich Kotak (September 2026), you can get a digital copy of your RC in two main ways. Details can change, so follow the wording on the official site or app.
- DigiLocker: log in, open Issued Documents, choose the Ministry of Road Transport (or search for vehicle registration), enter your registration number and chassis number, choose Get Document, and download it.
- Parivahan Sewa portal: choose Vehicle Related Services, select your state, log in, enter your registration number, verify with the OTP sent to the mobile number registered against the vehicle, and download the RC as a PDF.
The mParivahan app also lets you add a virtual RC with your vehicle number and chassis details. Aditya Birla Capital says that downloading an RC online is free. If your mobile number is not registered against the vehicle, update it with your RTO first.
Check these before you order
- Read the registration number, owner name and vehicle details on your file against your original RC. We cannot correct a mistake after printing.
- If the vehicle has changed hands or you have moved, the RC details are the transport department’s to update. We print what your file shows.
- We do not print on chip cards. If your RC has a chip, only the chip image is printed.
- A printed card is a convenience copy. Ask whoever needs to see your RC what they will accept, and keep the original or your digital copy as well.
How to order
- Keep your RC file ready, as shown above.
- Add this product to your cart and upload the file at checkout.
- We print your card, which usually takes about 72 hours. We try to dispatch it on the same day printing is finished, but the exact dispatch time depends on printing. We ship by Speed Post. At dispatch we send the tracking number and photos of your card to your WhatsApp number.
