Punjab Driving Licence PVC Card: what you get

A PVC print of your driving licence, made from the file you upload. We print it as it is. We do not edit, correct or change any detail. We are not the transport department and we do not issue or change documents. This is a convenience copy of your own licence. It is not a new, renewed or duplicate licence.

Punjab and digital licences

The Tribune reported on 19 February 2021 that Punjab allowed electronic driving licences and RCs, shown through the mParivahan and DigiLocker apps, during on-the-spot inspections by traffic police and RTOs. The State Transport Commissioner was quoted as saying the app copy is valid if the licence is forgotten, misplaced or awaiting delivery of the printed smart card. That report is from 2021, so check the current Punjab Transport Department guidance before relying on it.

Licences issued in Punjab usually begin with the state code PB, followed by the RTO code, the year of issue and a serial number. Check that the whole number on your file is clear and complete.

Which file gives the best print?

• A DigiLocker or mParivahan PDF (best). It keeps the text, photo and QR code sharp at card size.
• A flat scan of your licence. Use 300 dpi or higher with all four edges visible. At card size that is about 1011 x 638 pixels.
• Not a screenshot or an angled phone photo. Glare and tilt cannot be removed, and we do not retouch files.

Applying or renewing?

We print the licence you already hold. We do not take applications, renewals, duplicate requests or status checks. Do those on the Parivahan Sarathi portal or at your Punjab RTO. Once your licence is issued or renewed, upload the new file and we will print it.

Check these before you order

• We do not print on chip cards. If your licence has a chip, only the chip image is printed.
• Read the name, date of birth, licence number and vehicle classes on your file against your original. We cannot correct a mistake after printing.
• A printed card is a convenience copy. Ask whoever needs to see it what they will accept, and keep the original or your digital copy as well.

1. Keep a clear scan, photocopy or DigiLocker PDF of your driving licence.
2. Add this product to your cart and upload the file at checkout.
3. We print your card, which usually takes about 72 hours. We try to dispatch it on the same day printing is finished, but the exact dispatch time depends on printing. We ship by Speed Post. At dispatch we send the tracking number and photos of your card to your WhatsApp number.
