Ayushman Bharat PVC card: what you get
This Ayushman Bharat PVC card is a PVC print of your Ayushman Card, made from the file you upload. Your details are printed as they appear in your file. We print it as it is. We do not edit, correct or change any detail. We are not the National Health Authority or the Ayushman Bharat authority. We do not enrol beneficiaries, we do not decide who is eligible and we do not change card details. This is a convenience copy of your own card. It gives no extra benefit by itself.
What the Ayushman card is
The Ayushman card is the identity card for Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY, the government health assurance scheme. According to Anantam IAS (September 2026) and ClearTax (June 2025), it gives eligible families cashless treatment at empanelled hospitals, up to Rs 5 lakh per family per year, and the cover is shared by all members of the family. It is a different card from the ABHA health ID, which is only a digital health record number. If you want that one, see our ABHA Health ID card.
Both articles say eligibility comes from the government’s lists, mainly the SECC 2011 database and state additions, and that anyone aged 70 or above can apply for the Ayushman Vay Vandana card, with a further Rs 5 lakh of cover for seniors already in a covered family. Rules and amounts can change. Check your eligibility on the official PM-JAY site or on the helpline, 14555, which both articles list.
How to get your Ayushman card file
As described by Anantam IAS and ClearTax, you can download the card from the beneficiary portal at beneficiary.nha.gov.in or in the Ayushman app:
- Log in with your mobile number and OTP.
- Search for your family by Aadhaar, PMJAY ID or family ID, or by name and location.
- Choose Do e-KYC and verify with your Aadhaar OTP.
- When the status shows Approved, choose Download Card and verify again with an Aadhaar OTP. The card downloads as a PDF.
ClearTax says the approval can take about 15 to 20 minutes after e-KYC. Anantam IAS says the card is free at the portal, in the app and at Common Service Centres, and warns against paying anyone for card making. Menu names on government portals can change, so follow the wording on the screen.
Check these before you order
- Upload the card file you downloaded, as a PDF, JPEG or PNG, not a photo of a screen.
- Read the name and card details on the file against your original. We cannot correct a mistake after printing.
- A printed card is a convenience copy. Hospitals decide what proof they accept, so ask before you rely on it.
How to order
- Download your Ayushman card as shown above.
- Add this product to your cart and upload the PDF, JPEG or PNG file at checkout.
- We print your card, which usually takes about 72 hours. We try to dispatch it on the same day printing is finished, but the exact dispatch time depends on printing. We ship by Speed Post. At dispatch we send the tracking number and photos of your card to your WhatsApp number.
